TROPOS Costing

Knowing precisely what your costs are is critical in managing a successful business for profit. Choosing the correct costing methodology for your type of business will enable you to exercise tight cost management and control your specific business variables.

The costing capabilities provided in the TROPOS Resources, Products and Processes module provide you with the full range of costing options. Whether you operate in an ‘process’ environment with high overheads, continually fluctuating material costs, and the need to know your marginal product or process costs, or a ‘discrete’ environment with significant added value from labour and high value components, TROPOS costing provides the solution.

TROPOS costing allows you to establish and maintain the product and process costs which underpin all financial reporting throughout the supply chain.

Chosen cost sets are used to set budgets, create base price lists, report production and inventory performance, analyse purchase variances and future commitments and importantly act as the cost source for postings into the general ledger.
