The TROPOS Human Resource Management system is a suite of modules covering HR, Time & Attendance, Access Control and Payroll available as individual modules or a fully integrated suite. The system has been developed to provide a comprehensive, scaleable and flexible way to manage all aspects of personnel administration. Time & Attendance data collection and Access Control equipment manufactured and maintained by Mitrefinch is also available to provide a comprehensive HR solution from a single source.

HR Manager

The key issue in HR is often managing the vast amount of employee information so that it can be used effectively. HR Manager has a powerful and flexible database maintaining all details, change history and effective date. Rules can be defined to ensure data is maintained accurately. A report generator and letter writer is fully integrated, and an HR diary manages key dates and activities. Performance Appraisal, Health & Safety, Industrial Relations, Equal Opportunities and Welfare are all included. Data can be viewed historically, or rolled forward to represent future employment situations. The HR database is fully integrated with payroll calculation and management if implemented.

Payroll

The Payroll Manager is a fully functional Flexipay payroll with features usually found only in far more expensive systems. The complexities of shift pay, rates, grades and flexible working commonly found in manufacturing companies are well catered for, in additional to all the normal and statutory requirements. The payroll is multi company, catering for up to 999 companies with unlimited independent data sets. Integrated BACS software supports modem communication with BACSTEL. The Payroll Manager can be used independently or with the HR Manager for more comprehensive employee management.

TMS Time & Attendance

Mitrefinch has become the industry leader in Time & Attendance management with systems installed in a wide range of industries, particularly manufacturing companies. Recent developments have incorporated features that will aid compliance with the EU Working Time Regulations, which imposes new requirements of employers, particularly night workers and the hourly paid. The Time & Attendance features support labour management, skills availability, working rules, manpower planning and messaging. Powerful management features turn Time & Attendance from a data collection system into a management tool that can significantly increase productivity and reduce administration costs. A range of data collection equipment is available to collect clocking data from ID cards.

Access Control

The system is used to manage and control access through turnstiles, doors and barriers. Restrictions can be placed on control points to control access according to individual identification and times. This allows traffic and individual movements to be monitored, supported by an audit log. Graphical mapping makes it easy to monitor access points. Real time messaging warns of attempted access, and violation of entry time rules.

Access control equipment is available to support entry using barcode, magnetic stripe or proximity cards. The Access Control module can be implemented as a standalone system or integrated with the other modules in the suite.

Implementation

Each module can be implemented separately, standalone, or in any combination as an integrated suite. Implementation projects are managed by SSI to ensure systems are in use as quickly as possible to provide the benefits that are expected. Site surveys for Time & Attendance and Access Control equipment can be provided, ensuring that both the application software and the data collection hardware work together most effectively in the chosen environment.
