Every business is different, however similar it may be to other organizations in the same industry. Package solutions with specialist vertical market features such as TROPOS means that the fit to your business will be better than generalised packages, but there may still be some business functions or processes that can be further optimized to increase efficiency.

The TROPOS Application Designer, part of the TROPOS toolset, enables you to customise and configure new 'no compromise' applications based on standard TROPOS transactions. Navigation, style sheets, screen layouts, database look-ups and application defaults and logic can all be configured to reflect your precise way of working. Areas that could benefit from configured screens are the sales order entry interface to follow the unique way you interact with your customers, or a shop floor interface which matches the way you have organised production, and the warehouse and dispatch operations that are the focus of pressure to improve efficiencies and provide even better customer service.

Customising TROPOS Transactions

Groups of TROPOS transactions can be combined into easy to use job role based applications, and at a lower level multiple TROPOS transactions can be combined into a single screen with database look ups and defaults created which reflect your use of TROPOS.

The TROPOS Application Designer is an extension of the Microsoft development environment and utilises web technologies and the TROPOS object based architecture to allow you to deploy easy to maintain browser applications. New TROPOS applications are created through a click 'n drag development interface which minimises the need for manual coding. Page designs can be imported from other development tools and URL links to other applications inserted as required. With appropriate training the Application Designer can be used by Super Users to configure 'straight forward' interfaces where no manual scripting is required. Alternatively it can be used by web application developers where extensions are required which include more complex database access and application logic. The Application Designer is sold with pre-requisite training.
