TROPOS Role-Based Applications: Applications that work the way you do
TROPOS is a powerful and flexible system, capable of supporting critical business activities across the manufacturing supply chain. You need business applications to be intuitive, efficient, functional and above all, fast. TROPOS Role-Based Applications (RBA) have been developed to provide users with web-based applications that enable them to carry out their job quickly and efficiently. RBAs present TROPOS business functionality to users in a format that matches their activities and are tuned for user efficiency, presenting information and data entry fields in a process flow designed to support they way they work. Furthermore, because RBAs include information from multiple sources and can contain links to web-sites, reports and external information, they are a powerful tool for users.
Specialist new features built-in
The development of TROPOS RBAs included careful analysis of what features users needed to execute the tasks required by their roles. Additional job-specific features have been designed-in to the RBA, to extend TROPOS functionality. This makes RBAs even more valuable, increasing user productivity and efficiency in many demanding and vital areas. RBAs follow the development approach referred to as “Rich Web Clients” in the IT industry.
